PURPOSE: An apparatus for asynchronously transmitting pulse code modulation data in a time division multiple system is provided which remarkably reduces the number of cables for providing frames and allows an exchange to process frame data with asynchronous TAXI BUS. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for converting multiple frame data items received in parallel into serial data items in a full electronic switching system, serial-parallel converters(1-4) convert data pieces in frames(F1-F4) into serial data to provide them to first-in/first-output buffers(FIFO1-FIFO4). The first-in/first-out buffers sequentially supply the frame data pieces to a high-speed parallel-serial converter(7). This parallel-serial converter adds headers to the data pieces and converts the parallel data into serial data to provide it to an exchange. |
