The posture support, which can be made e.g. in the shape of a glove or boot, consists of two halves, formed by three sleeves (1, 2, 3), with one half designed to receive the affected limb and the other an inflatable balloon (4) to provide a certain degree of pressure and rigidity. The balloon is inflated with air from an aerosol-type container through a valve (5). A variant of the design has the half containing the balloon divided into a number of separate compartments, each with a balloon.
