<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a data collection device which selects a proper monitor device even against a transient failure state, where a normal value and an abnormal value are alternately repeated and the abnormal value is gradually increased, to report the failure without increasing the cost or the labor of work. SOLUTION: This device is provided with various sensors 16 to 19 which detect measured data of measurement object devices 2 and 3, a data collection means 1 which stores measured data as collected data, a fault discrimination means which analyzes collected data to perform fault discrimination and failure prediction and generates failure report data to monitor devices 5 to 7, a communication means which transmits failure report data to monitor devices through a telephone line 4. A report destination setting means which sets telephone numbers, the number of the devices, and classifications of monitor devices, and a failure report destination setting means which sets a failure report destination in accordance with the occurrence frequency of a failures.</p> |
