PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain concentrated fixing solution for a silver halide photographic sensitive material excellent in high temperature preservability, free from the deterioration of fixing performance even under reduced replenishment and not substantially containing a boron compound which adversely affects the environment, to obtain a solid fixing agent for a silver halide photographic sensitive material and to provide a processing method for a silver halide photographic sensitive material using a fixing solution prepared from the fixing agent. SOLUTION: This concentrated fixing solution contains a thiosulfate, a water- soluble aluminum salt and a compound of the formula R-(B)n-CH2-COOH and does not substantially contain a boron compound. In the formula, R is a 1-5C alkyl or aryl substituted by at least one substituent selected from among hydroxyl, unsubstituted amino, sulfonic acid, nitro and halogen, B is ester, amido, ester or thio-ether and (n) is 1 or 0.
