SOLUTION: This automatic transaction device has a main control part 19 and a card processing part 12 receiving an IC card access command transmitted from the main control part 19, executing an activation processing on an IC card in accordance with the IC card access command, transmitting various commands to the IC card, receiving a response corresponding to the respective commands from the IC card and transmitting the IC card access response to the main control part 19. The IC card access command is constituted of a command header part provided with activation information and the command added to the command header part. The IC card access response is formed of a response header part provided with processing result information and a response added to the response header part. The activation processing can be executed on the IC card and various commands can be transmitted only by executing communication once. |
