PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute transferring transaction without making a customer re- input information on a transferring destination, etc., even when contents printed on a transferring card cannot be read by reading contents printed to the transferring card when the read content of the magnetic data in the transferring card is not normal. SOLUTION: At the time of inserting a transferring card 1 to the magnetic card reading and writing part 3 of an automatic teller machine 2, magnetically recorded data on the rear surface of the card 1 is read and a magnetic data deciding means 2b judges whether the data was normally read. When it was not read normally, the magnetic data is decided to be defective and an image reading part 4 reads character information 1a and a bar code 1b on the surface of the card 1. Read information is decided by an image reading judging means 2d. When a bar code 2d is normally read, data stored at a corresponding position is fetched as information on a transferring destination by accessing to a database 6 through the use of an address expressed by a bar code and the data is processed by a transferring processing means 2c. |
