PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk reproducing device unchanging the audio level even when different disks are successively played. SOLUTION: The disk reproducing device utilizing a twin pickup system furnished with two optical pickups 1, 2 is provided with electronic volume controls 13, 14 for making signal levels outputted from each of the optical pickups 1, 2 to be variable, and the output of the electronic volume control 13, to which a signal from one optical pickup 1 is inputted in the process of disk playing by this optical pickup 1, and the output of the electronic volume control 14, to which a signal from another optical pickup 2 is inputted, are sampled to store the levels, then the gain of the electronic volume control 14 is adjusted so that the output of the electronic volume control 14, to which the signal from the optical pickup 2 is inputted before being changed over to the disk playing operated by another optical pickup 2, becomes equal to the output of the electronic volume control 13 to which the signal from the one optical pickup 1 is inputted.
