摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decrease in the responding property and display brightness when a liquid crystal display device is used in a cold place by constituting the display device of a liquid crystal display element, a light source, a reflection member to reflect the light from the light source to the liquid crystal display element, and a heating member disposed on the back side of the reflection member. SOLUTION: The reflection member 16 is disposed backward from a liquid crystal display element 13 and the reflection member 16 reflects the light emitted from a cold cathode tube 15. A reflector 19 reflects the light emitted from the cold cathode tube 15 to the reflection member 16. A heating member is adhered to the back face of the reflection member 16, and the heating member consists of a stainless thin plate and has three heat generating parts. The heating member is connected to respective heater circuits and generates heat when a voltage is applied. The heating member is adhered to the reflection member 16 in such a manner that one heat generating part is on the one end 16a of the reflection member 16 and that another heat generating part is on the other end 16b of the reflection member 16. Thereby, the device prevents increase in the viscosity coefficient of the liquid crystal when the liquid crystal display device is used in a cold place.
