PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the simultaneous recording of plural channels, the simultaneous execution of reproducing and recording, the running-after reproducing of a program in recording, the elimination of necessity for the substitution of tapes, long time recording or the like only by one video device to be used for a general home. SOLUTION: The video device is provided with at least one television(TV) signal input part 1 for converting an NTSC signal into an MPEG2 digital signal, at least one TV signal output part 3 for converting an MPEG2 signal into an NTSC signal, at least one recording part 4 for recording a TV signal in a magnetic recording part 6, at least one reproducing part 5 for reproducing the TV signal read out from the recording part 6, and a switching part 2 for outputting an input from any one of TV signal input parts 1 or reproducing parts 5 to any one of TV signal output parts 3 or recording parts 4 and simultaneously storing plural outputs.
