VOICE MESSAGE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM TO RETRIEVE AND STORE VOICE MESSAGE FROM OTHER MESSAGE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily store and retrieve a voice message from both voice message transmission systems by providing a voice mail retrieval module downloading a voice message and a voice message memory storing voice messages to a telephone reply device. SOLUTION: A telephone reply device 10 includes a voice mail retrieval module 34. Thus, the telephone reply device 10 can download a voice message having originally been recorded in a central station of a telephone company to store the voice message to a message memory 28 relating thereto. The voice mail retrieval module 34 outputs a proper command and a proper password to a DTMF generator 22 so as to allow a telephone line interface 12 to hook off a telephone line 16 and to download a voice message, and a recording process of a voice recorder/reproduction audio module 18 is started so that a voice message retrieved by a voice message transmission system of the central station 14 is reproduced. The local voice message memory 28 stores the retrieved voice message.
