PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high information security by entrusting the protection of information to be protected/transferred to its protective/transferable function when the protective/transfer function exists in an information transfer to a recording medium, and coding/transferring it when the protective/transfer function doesn't exist. SOLUTION: When the copy contents are recorded on a memory card(MC) from a musical contents use control system (LCM) through a recording/ reproducing device (PD), the LCM is connected to the PD with a communication interface of e.g. IEEE 1394 and USB, etc. and when the standardized protective/ transferable function for preserving the information transfer security exists in them, the function is used, and when such a function doesn't exist, the information of a contents decoding key, etc., requiring the security are coded/ transferred, and the transferred information are protected surely. |
