DYNAMIC IMAGE TRANSMISSION METHOD AND DYNAMIC IMAGE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely reproduce dynamic image data in real time without causing deficiency in dynamic image data or data overflow at a receiver side device even in the case that the dynamic image data are transmitted via a communication channel at a transmission rate different from a coding rate in a dynamic image transmission system where compressed dynamic image data are transmitted via a communication channel. SOLUTION: A system adopting this dynamic image transmission method is provided with a receiver side device B1, that receives dynamic image data, and the receiver side device B1 is provided with a timing conversion section 10 that converts contents of a synchronizing field instructing timing for expansion processing of the dynamic image data received when a transmission rate of a communication channel 5 differs from a coding rate and with a dynamic image expansion section 12 that applies expansion processing to the dynamic image data after being converted by this timing conversion section 10.
