PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide data communication equipment which can form a satisfactory data communication state without restriction on the decorativeness and the design of a portable unit such as a watch. SOLUTION: An RFID module 5 is arranged at the peripheral part of a windproof glass 2b on the upper face of a watch main body 2. The RFID module 5 is constituted of a circular RFID antenna 6 extending along the peripheral part of windproof glass 2b and an IC chip arranged in the RFID antenna 6. The RFID antenna 6 is a coil and is supported by the peripheral part of the watch main body 2 through a vertical rocking hinge 8 installed in one end peripheral part. Thus, the RFID antenna 6 is constituted so that it can rock in a non-use time state where it is overlapped with the upper face of the watch main body 2 as shown in (B) and a use time position where it is rocked in a vertical direction from the upper face of the watch main body 2 as shown in (C).
