PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain power loss in the case of stand-by time, reduce number of part items, miniaturize a device, and lower cost in an image recorder provided with a multiple output power source by which plural drive voltages for image recording operation are generated from an external commercial power source, etc. SOLUTION: A relay 300 for interrupting the power supply from the commercial power source 1 is provided, and the relay 300 is also used as the relay for interrupting the drive voltage to the heating means (heater) 400 of a fixing device. The relay 300 is driven, by causing a transistor 601 to be turned on at the stand-by time and the like by an interrupting signal from an engine controller 200 for controlling image recording, power supply to at least one converter is interrupted, and the converter operation is stopped. |
