摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a positioning system in which a positioning operation can be performed with higher accuracy by the smaller number of satellites by a method wherein the time deviation between an individual time reference and a common time reference is decided by the communication between a positioning terminal and a satellite, the distances between a plurality of satellites and the positioning terminal are measured and the position of the positioning terminal is decided. SOLUTION: A positioning terminal 10 has a function to detect the arrival time of a plurality of distance-measuring radio waves 3b received on the basis of an individual time reference. It has a function to decide positioning-related information which is superposed on the distance- measuring radio waves 3b, A satellite group which is constituted of satellites 1i (where i=1,..., n) has a function to transmits distance-measuring radio waves 2i on which the positioning- related information is superposed on the basis of the common time reference of the satellites 1i, and it has a function to relay distance-measuring radio waves 3a transmitted by the positioning terminal 10. Then, the time deviation Dc between the individual time reference and the common time reference is decided by the communication between the positioning terminal 10 and the satellites 1i, the distance Pi (where i=1, 2, ..., n) between the satellites 1i in a plurality and the positioning terminal 10 are measured, and the position of the positioning terminal is decided.
