PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To direct a service area (directivity) of a speaker system to audience or spectators only and to place the speaker system to no emit sounds in unwanted directions, in order to avoid adverse effect such as deterioration in the articulation due to howling or reverberation sound by solving problems, i.e., difficulties in directivity control, transportation, installation and handling work of a conventional spherical omnidirectional speaker installed in various halls, concert halls and meeting places having excellent acoustic characteristics such as localization of sound field and spatial reproducibility. SOLUTION: A required number of driver units 30 are placed on the surface of a spherical segment which is 1/8 division of a sphere, a perpendicular plate with a required width is formed in the longitudinal lengthwise direction at the center of the sphere, projections are provided to upper and lower end of the perpendicular plate, a hanger plate 20 is provided integrally in the lengthwise direction of the perpendicular plate, a speaker unit with a drive electrode terminal at a required parts of a circular-arc horizontal plane of 90 degrees is provided, a square pipe with notches to which upper lower projections of the hanger plate 20 are fitted is provided, the upper lower projections of each 1/8 division spherical speaker unit are fitted to the upper lower notches of the hanger plate 20 to form a sphere in this spherical speaker and the cylindrical speaker.
