PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspecting method for a flaw in a concrete structure capable of distinctly detecting a flaw such as a cavity existing in an arbitrary position in an inspection cross-section. SOLUTION: Employing an impact echo method, an inspecting method for a flaw in a concrete structure performs a spectrum analysis of a response waveform so that the response waveform is a spectrum showing the relationship between frequency and amplitude. The inspecting method also assumes a plurality of virtual points in an inspection cross-section of a concrete structure and, for each virtual point, computes a theoretical frequency of an elastic wave being reflected thereat and an amplitude for the frequency in the spectrum corresponding to the theoretical frequency. And, the inspecting method brings the amplitude in each virtual point into a visually recognizable state so as to compare the amplitudes therein and thereby detect a flaw in the concrete structure.
