A mop wringer which has two rollers which both move together or move apart relative to a support perimeter frame. The arrangement includes a step which is mechanically coupled to each of the rollers and a cord or wire extending between the two rollers such that, upon depression of the step, the cord or wire coupled between the rollers pulls the rollers together toward a squeezing position.
