NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY CELL

A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary cell which comprises a positive electrode containing a lithium-containing oxide, a negative electrode containing a material capable of occluding and releasing lithium, and a non-aqueous electrolyte containing at least one acyclic ester, wherein the non-aqueous electrolyte further contains an agent improving the resistance to oxidation, such as triphenylmethane or tetraphenylmethane. The secondary cell exhibits excellent storage stability at a high temperature.
