The shutter valve for dispensing liquids from a plastic bottle is made from rubber or silicone. It comprises a cylindrical or polygonal nozzle (2) fitted with triangular teeth. One face (3) of each tooth has a cut out (6) at the bottom, while the other has a ledge (7) at the bottom. The nozzle is attached to a locking ring, allowing the valve to be closed, when the ledges and cut-outs on adjacent edges of the teeth interlock.
