Material combination film for thermographic recording of surface temperature distributions consists of magnetic material on flexible carrier film

A finely structured magnetic material (2) having a defined Curie point and magnetic characteristics (such as saturation magnetisation, coercive field intensity, permeability) having defined temperature dependence is applied to a flexible carrier film (1). This material combination is magnetised before the recording process and then applied to the surface to be examined until thermal equilibrium is reached. Then the material combination is removed and the magnetic field distribution of the material is measured in a reading device and evaluated as a measure of the temperature distribution.
