<p>The method measures characteristics of circular saws for cutting a pack (3) of panels (2), and includes the steps of determining the distances of at least one side of a number of teeth (42b) of a first saw (42) from a reference surface (42a and/or 42c); determining the thickness (S) of the teeth (42b) of the first saw (42); calculating the width of the cut (84) made in the pack (3) with the aforementioned parameters; determining the distances of at least one side of a number of teeth (51b) of a notching tool (51), for notching the bottom panel (2) in the pack (3), from a reference surface (51a and/or 51c); determining the thickness (S) of the teeth (51b) of the notching tool (51); and calculating the width of the groove (85) formed in the bottom panel (2) with the aforementioned parameters. <IMAGE></p> |
