PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the positioning of the center of a disk shape medium and the center of a holding protrusion by providing enough elastic deflection with no possibility of the opening of the holding protrusion for the deflection becoming larger. SOLUTION: This disk storage case comprises a main body for storing a disk shape medium D and a cover body mounted freely openable on the main body. The main body has a bottom wall integrally formed with a holding protrusion 15 in a center area for fitting and holding the center hole of the medium D. A slit 15a is formed partially surrounding the base of the protrusion 15 enabling the elastic deformation of the protrusion 15. A plurality of the protrusions 15 are arranged in an annular shape, and between the protrusions 15 a guiding protrusion 18 higher than the protrusions 15 is integrally formed on the bottom wall.
