<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid controlled pilot type four-way valve operable even in a high differential pressure of a refrigerant. SOLUTION: In an initial step of switching the cycle of cooling and heating, by energizing an electromagnetic coil 96, magnetic poles are switched between magnetic pole plate A 98 and a magnetic pole plate B 99 to rotate a permanent magnet 75. Thereby, an auxiliary valve 77 is rotated by an amount optionally set with respect to a valve element so as to open an auxiliary valve seat portion 83. A pressure chamber 85 located above the valve element 72 is set to a lower pressure close to the pressure of a low pressure communicating hole 81. Then, the pressure difference between the pressure chamber 85 having low pressure and the inside surface of the valve element 72 raises the valve element 72. Additionally, pressure of a refrigerant at the high pressure side pressing the valve element 72 to the valve set during operation is relieved to the low pressure side to eliminate pressure difference between the upside and downside of the valve element 72. Then, the rotation of the permanent magnet 75 rotates the valve element 72 and a coil actuates the auxiliary valve and rotates the valve element 72 to switch the air conditioner cycle.</p> |
