<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable precise and continuous measurement of horizontal position of a jaw by Gothic arch tracing. SOLUTION: The Gothic arch tracer vertically transmits the force toward the running tracing face owing to spherical shape of the tip of a position- defining device and thus contributes to maintenance and stabilization of the occlusion bed, and also creates a means to stabilize contact friction and to protect the sensor surface of a digitizer. Here a digitizer plate 1 is made of a ferromagnetic material and a magnet clip 11 is provided in the wax of occlusion bank to enable to magnetically hold the digitizer plate 1 in the occlusion bank.</p> |
