PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw type dehydrator preventing objects to be processed from being bitten by eliminating a mechanical moving part and a sliding part, and facilitating maintenance. SOLUTION: This is a screw type dehydrator that presses and dehydrates objects to be processed introduced inside a casing 1 by a screw 3 arranged inside the cylindrical casing 1 and by a resistor 5 provided on the tip side of this screw 3. The resistor 5 is constituted by an elastic body of which an opening part 51 is formed that is smaller than the exhaust part 8 of the casing 1.
