PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the load on waste liquid treatment by producing iron carbonate free from incorporating sodium component. SOLUTION: A ferrous chloride solution and an ammonium carbonate solution are prepared as raw material solutions and are heated and mixed. Iron carbonate is taken out from the slurried mixture by solid-liquid separation using a centrifugal separator 3 and an ammonium chloride solution of a mother liquor is reacted with sodium hydroxide to be separated into ammonia gas and a sodium chloride solution. The flue gas and water are supplied to the ammonia to produce ammonium carbonate by the gas-liquid reaction, which is recycled as the raw material liquid. |
