PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a relief operation of a relief valve during automatic braking control to improve a sound vibration performance and improve brake pedal feeling without enhancing a sealing capability of an out side gate valve and relief valve provided on the upstream side of a hydraulic control valve in a brake control device performing an automatic braking control. SOLUTION: A brake control device is formed so as to perform an automatic braking control to arbitrarily increase and decrease a brake hydraulic pressure in a wheel cylinder (b) based on the operation of a hydraulic control valve (e) by, when a brake is not operated, closing an out side gate valve (j), opening an in side gate valve (k), and operating a sub bump (h). In addition, control means (n) performing a relief preventing control is provided to maintain a hydraulic pressure between the out side gate valve (j) and the hydraulic pressure control valve (e) to a pressure between the set pressure and the relief pressure after the hydraulic pressure between the out side gate valve (j) and the hydraulic pressure control valve (e) rises to exceed a set pressure during the automatic braking control.
