PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel water-repellency treatment composition for clothing that imparts excellent functions of feather, namely water repellency, resistance to water, moisture release, heat retention and oil absorption, to the fabric by admixing fine particles of feather powder to a resin composition. SOLUTION: One hundred parts, on the solid basis, of a resin composition comprising at least one selected from acrylic resin, rubber resin, for example, styrene-butadiene or the like, urethane resin, olefin resin and epoxy resin are compounded with 5-500 pts.wt. of fine particle powder of stone mortar-ground feather with particle sizes of 1-500μm to give a novel water-repellency treatment composition of an aqueous emulsion type. The resultant novel water repellency treatment composition is applied to fabrics and adhered thereto by heat treatment.
