PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition capable of forming a layer, which is irradiated with an ultraviolet radiation under conditions in which one of its surfaces is kept in the state exposed to an oxygenous atmosphere to cure the other surface and to allow the one surface to have tack and which is excellent in resistance to slide against an external stress and easy to be re-worked by mixing a polymer as the principal component with a silane coupling agent and a photopolymerization initiator. SOLUTION: When a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 1 is irradiated with an ultraviolet radiation, the dose is adjusted according to the amount of the photopolymerization initiator in the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, the thickness of a pressure- sensitive adhesive layer 1, etc., so that the uncured surface layer 1A and the cured internal layer 1B of the layer 1 may develop good re-workability and resistance to slide. The polymer as the principal component of the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is desirably one having rubber elasticity and a modulus (25 deg.C) of 1×105 to 1×1010 dyn/cm2. Further, it is desirable that the composition contains a hydrocarbon resin. In this case, the composition becomes more viscous and therefore is improved in processability and workability such as lamination.
