PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of e.g. the cracking of coating layer by running owing to hard coating material in the case of coloring a tire surface with conventional commercially available coating material and the deterioration of appearance of the coated tire caused by the adhesion of the coating material to the body or wheel of the vehicle other than the tire in the case of applying a coating material to the surface of a tire. SOLUTION: The objective coloring composition for the tire surface is composed of a pearlescent pigment coloring the tire surface and a film-forming component for forming a soft coating film and composed of one or more substances comprising waxes, silicone oils, resins, rubbers, oil and fat, fatty acids and their derivatives. The film-forming component is a curable material. The coloring composition is composed of a coloring component and a film- forming component giving a coating film removable with an aqueous solution of a surfactant.
