PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a printing blanket by sufficient fixing force without damaging the same. SOLUTION: A mounting bar 10 has a pair of holding plates 11 opened in a dogleg shape around a connection part 13 and the ridges having an almost chevron-shaped cross section provided to the opposed surfaces 14 of the holding plates 11. The end part of a blanket is introduced into the gap between the open ends 12b of the holding plates 11 to be held and fixed between the holding plates 11. The top parts 15a of the ridges have an R-shape and the bottom parts of the ridges are connected to the holding plates 11 corresponding only through the leg parts 15c provided to the end parts on the side of the open ends 12b. By this constitution, the top parts 15a of the ridges are not bitten in the blanket at an acute angle. Since the whole of the ridges 15 are revolved around the leg parts 15c to be bitten in the blanket when pulling force acts on the blanket, the ridges can sufficiently stand against pulling force.
