PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt retractor assembly having a belt spool capable of being surely locked at the time of primary impact so that a car occupant is not moved further forward at the time of secondary impact in order to prevent a belt web from being further extracted from the belt spool. SOLUTION: An assembly comprises a lockingly arresting part 34 connected to a drive portion 28 of a force limiter, release mechanisms 36 and 38 for the lockingly arresting part, and a stationary locking teeth portion 40. By this, the lockingly arresting part is formed engageable through the release mechanisms with the stationary locking teeth portion, the release mechanisms are operated by a relative rotation of the drive portion of the force limiter to a housing 20 of the force limiter. Also, near the end of the relative rotation, the release mechanisms can engage the lockingly arresting part in the locking teeth portion, and a belt spool 12 is locked to the locking teeth portion so as not to be rotated in a belt web extraction direction. |
