PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high-speed production of disposable underpants having fit gather integrate without complicating the structure of production machine. SOLUTION: A pair of the underpants comprises an elastic member 1 arranged widthwise between a pair of nonwoven fabric sheets 6 and 7 and fixed to these sheets excepting the widthwise middle part of the nonwoven fabric sheets 6 and 7. It is also provided with an integrated fit gather formed by cutting the elastic member 1 at the widthwise middle part of the nonwoven fabric sheets 6 and 7, a reinforcing sheet 3 fixed on the bottom face of the widthwise middle part of the fit gather integrate, an absorbing material 4 arranged on the upper face of the fit gather integrate 1, and a backing sheet 5 arranged on the bottom face of the reinforcing sheet 3.
