<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To broaden width of window glass significantly and reduce manufacturing cost and assembly cost by providing a connection member, having predetermined width equivalent to thickness thereof and extending from operation means at an outer panel side through bypassing a window glass to an interlock mechanism at an inner panel side. SOLUTION: A main body of a sliding door 20 is composed of an outer panel 21 and an inner panel 22. An outside handle 23 is provided outside of the outer panel 21 and a door locking/unlocking mechanism 30 is provided at the inner side of the inner panel 22. An outside lever (connection member) 33 made of a flat plate is bent to form a groove-like section so that it bypasses a window glass 15, and forms a clearance in which the window glass 15 and a door glass-run 16 can be housed. Control force against the outside handle 23 is transmitted to the locking/unlocking mechanism 30 via the outside lever 33. With this configuration, width of the window glass 15 can be broadened significantly.</p> |
