PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION, FILM COATED WITH PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE, AND METHOD FOR STICKING FILM COATED WITH PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition capable of forming a layer, which is irradiated with an ultraviolet radiation under conditions in which one of its surfaces is kept in the state exposed to an oxygenous atmosphere to cure the other surface and to allow the one surface to have tack and which is excellent in resistance to slide against an external stress and easy to be re-worked by mixing a polymer as the principal component with a silane coupling agent and a photopolymerization initiator. SOLUTION: When a layer 1 of a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising a base polymer and a pbotopolymerization initiator is irradiated with an ultraviolet radiation under conditions in which one side 1A of the layer 1 is in the state exposed to an oxygenous atmosphere, the other side 1B not exposed to an oxygenous atmosphere is cured. On the other hand, the side 1A can remain uncured in virtue of the polymerization inhibiting effect of oxygen and therefore can remain to have tack. Good re-workability can be developed owing to the tackiness on the one side, while excellent resistance to film slide can be developed owing to the cured part formed on the other side. It is desirable that the composition further contain a hydrocarbon resin, etc.
