PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Welsh onion processing apparatus capable of surely removing inedible skins even of the Welsh onions which are unevenly grown depending collection timing, place of production and plowed land. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with plural dividing boards 2 arranged with spaces between themselves where a Welsh onion can be placed on a pair of endless chains 1a, 1b which are each placed on the upper side and the lower side, and move synchronously on a rectangular pass way. The apparatus is also provided with endless transport belts 15a, 15b to clamp the leaves of the Welsh onion inserted between the dividing boards 2 and move them. A pair of side wall boards 21a, 21b are placed in such a manner that each dividing board 2 can pass between them, and the side wall boards 21a, 21b are each provided with a nozzle unit for blowing pressurized fluid on a passing Welsh onion. The nozzle unit consists of the unit 22A of a multiple-tube single-stage arrangement construction, the unit 22C of a multiple-tube multiple- stage arrangement construction and the unit 22B of a single-tube single-stage arrangement construction, which are placed directing the downstream side.
