PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working device having the dividing function capable of automatically positioning a working tool with respect to a work, and dividing the work in an interlocking manner with the positioning of the working tool. SOLUTION: An adhesive application device 1 has a slider 7 slidable in an advancing/retracting direction to/from a work W (a lens holder by which an objective lens is held) mounted on a work mounting base 51, and when this slider 7 slides to the advancing position, a needle tip 12a of a syringe 12 mounted thereon is automatically positioned with respect to the position of adhesion of the work W. The work mounting base 51 is automatically turned by 90 deg. each in an interlocking manner with the slide of the slider 7, and the position of adhesion of the work is successively positioned to the position of application of the adhesive. A correct adhesive application work can be achieved by a simple work of the slide of the slider 7.
