PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for vulcanizing a tire which can reduce the factors of the deterioration of the quality of the tire and the abrasion of a mold to reduce costs. SOLUTION: In a tire vulcanization apparatus having upper and lower bolster plates 13, 3 to which the upper and lower mold parts Mb, Ma of a mold M are fitted and attachable/detachable connection means 19, 20 for transmitting the output of a pressure cylinder 5 for applying mold clamping force to the mold M which is vulcanizing a tire to the bolster plates 13, 3, the base part 1a of a main body frame 1 in which the lower bolster plate 3 is fitted upward, a guide column part 1b which is erected on one side of the mold M with its lower end fixed to the base part 1a, a vertically movable table 14 which is fitted vertically movably to the column part 1b through guide members 18, 19 with the upper bolster plate 13 fitted downward, and a vertically driving means 17 for the table 14 which is arranged symmetrically to the center of the mold M and fitted between the base part 1a and the table 14 are provided.
