<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood striker structure of a lightweight simple structure capable of securing high strength even if a rod of the ordinary standard is adopted as it is. SOLUTION: In a hood striker structure 3 arranged between a hood 1 and the latch 2 of a lock device, the leg parts 9A, 9B of a nearly U-shaped rod 9 are insertedly held between a pair of platelike bodies 5A and 5B formed with bead parts 6A to 8A, 6B to 8B, and also the open ends of these platelike bodies 5A, 5B are bent to be fitting parts 5C, 5D so that the pair of platelike bodies 5A, 5B formed into a nearly L-shape reinforce the leg parts 9A, 9B of the nearly U-shaped rod 9 while insertedly holding them. Thus, even if the platelike bodies 5A and 5B are relatively thin and the leg part 9A, 9B of the nearly U-shaped rod 9 are long, high strength is secured even if the ordinary size as the rod 9 is used as it is, so that lightweight and cost reduction can be achieved, and also the security of a proper assembling position and the temporary holding at the time of welding joint are enabled by the clamp holding of the rod 9 by means of the pair of the platelike bodies 5A, 5B.</p> |
