PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition capable of providing good curability and making processability compatible with various characteristics such as excellent corrosion resistance, sanitariness and resistance to contents at a high level by including a specific polyester resin and a phenol resin. SOLUTION: This resin composition is obtained by including (A) (i) a polyester resin containing an aromatic ring to which an electron donative group is bonded and/or (ii) a modified polyester resin using the component (i) and (B) a phenol resin as a curing agent. A structure represented by the formula Ph-O-R [R is a (poly)alkylene; and Ph is phenylene] is preferably contained in the component A. The component A preferably has 20-100 deg.C glass transition temperature, >=0.3 dL/g molecular weight expressed in terms of reduced viscosity and 5,000-25,000 number-average molecular weight. The compounding ratio of the components A and B is preferably (95/5) to (60/40), more preferably (80/20) to (70/30) of the components A/B expressed in terms of weight ratio.
