PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject elastomer having excellent high-temperature mechanical characteristics and durability in spite of having flexibility, useful for boots, bumper molding, or the like, of automobile by making the Durometer hardness and compression set of an ester-based elastomer have specific values. SOLUTION: This elastomer comprises a bond crystalline aromatic polyester (e.g. polyethylene naphthalate) in the structure and has 20-40 Durometer hardness (23 deg.C) and <=90% compression set (120 deg.C, 72 hours) by a constitution composed of preferably (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polyester-based copolymer, (B) 50-500 pts.wt. of a polymer containing hydroxyl groups at both ends (e.g. polytetramethylene glycol), (C) 10-100 pts.wt. of a urethane component composed of formula I (R1 is a 2-15C alkylene, or the like) or formula II (R2 is a 2-15C alkylene, or the like) as a constituent unit.
