PURPOSE: A method for producing a braun tube is provided to simplify a process and to increase the joining intensity between a panel and a rail. CONSTITUTION: A metal film is formed in a joined face of a rail(24). The metal film(34) is produced by a metal of a 3A, a 7A, a 3B or a 7B group on periodic table. In connecting a negative terminal with the panel(22) and a positive terminal with the metal film(34), cations of the panel(22) move toward the negative polar. Thereby, a depletion layer of positive charge is generated. An interface is stuck by generating the electrostatic force of the interface between the panel(22) and the metal film(34). The panel(22) and the metal film(34) are joined by chemically combining with the metal film(34) with an oxygen ion. Thereby, the rail(24) and the panel(22) are directly joined.
