PURPOSE: A rotation drum of washing machine and a manufacturing method for the drum are provided to facilitate the assembling of rotation drum while a shaft flange is fixed by inserting in the bottom of lower body of rotation drum, so that the manufacturing cost is reduced. CONSTITUTION: A rotation drum(30) of washing machine comprises; a cylindrical upper-body(31); a lower body(32) which is installed in lower part of upper body, and in which a pulsator forming a current of washing water is installed; and a shaft flange(33) which is formed in lower body, and in which a binding hole(331) is formed in central part so that a shaft of clutch passes through. The lower body is molded with plastic material. The shaft flange is inserted and then fixed in the lower body, and contains a body(333) having the binding hole, and numerous prominences(332) projected from the body and then inserted in the lower body. A manufacturing method for the drum comprises the steps of; preparing the shaft flange; placing the shaft flange in a die for mold of lower body so that the prominences of shaft flange are placed in bottom of lower body and then inserted in the lower body when the lower body is molded; and pouring the melted plastic into the die for an injection mold of lower body. |
