PURPOSE: An air bag control device of a passenger's seat of a vehicle is provided to block up a passenger's seat air bag from deployment even when collision occurs if a passenger's seat is fixed reversely. CONSTITUTION: A hall IC(10) senses the S polar magnetic element of a magnet mounted on a rotary shaft of a passenger's seat if the passenger's seat is fixed forwardly, the same as the driving direction of a vehicle. A low signal for indicating forward position of the passenger's seat is outputted via a pull-up resistance(R3). In a collision, an air bag ECU(electronic control unit)(30) inflates the air bag of the passenger's seat normally to protect the passenger in the passenger's seat.
