PURPOSE: A method for inspecting pollution of a sanitary landfill is provided to economically, systematically and precisely measure a pollution degree of the soil in a wide range. CONSTITUTION: A method for inspecting pollution of a sanitary landfill includes the steps of checking an origin of pollution by analyzing quality and state of the soil per depth at a position apart from a peak point of waste of the sanitary landfill by 1m, selecting a position for another sampling of the soil by defining rest of the origin of pollution in the shape of fixed or random lattice in consideration of a diffusion range of the pollution, sampling the soil by a unit of 0.6m to 1.2m depth by digging the sampling position to a position where underground water appears, and composing a distribution chart of the pollution of the sanitary landfill by analyzing the components of the sampled soil.
