PURPOSE: A method and a device for providing a signboard advertisement service in a computer network system are provided to advertise in a three-dimensional virtual reality space by setting an advertisement signboard, displaying it and by visiting a three-dimensional virtual reality space of an advertisement firm by a virtual object of general members to be guided voluntarily with expectation. CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional virtual space at which pre-set advertisement signboards are installed is displayed. When a control data for controlling a virtual object corresponding to a user's computer is inputted, the virtual object corresponding to the inputted control data is controlled. When a request signal for the virtual object is inputted from the user's computer (S511), list of the virtual object for users is output. Accordingly, the names of the virtual objects for users which has been previously made and stored are displayed on the computer who requested the virtual objects. When a select signal for one of the virtual objects is inputted from a computer of a member who requested the virtual object, the virtual object of the selected model is displayed.
