EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY

PURPOSE: An emergency power supply is provided to reduce power consumption by supplying an emergency power when a normal power is not supplied and interrupting the emergency power when the normal power is supplied again. CONSTITUTION: A normal power supply sensor(10) detects the supply of a normal power. An emergency power supply sensor(20) detects the supply of an emergency power, and rectifies and smoothes the emergency power to generate a DC power. A timer(30) is operated by the DC power from the emergency power supply sensor(20) and generates a switching control signal when the normal power supply sensor(10) detected supply of the normal supply and a predetermined time passed. A power switching unit(40) interrupts the normal power from a load(50) and supplies the emergency power to the load when the normal power supply sensor(10) fails to detect the normal power, and interrupts the emergency power from the load and supplies the normal power to the load according to the switching control signal from the timer(30).
