PURPOSE: A plasma display panel for radio frequency and its driving method are provided to extend a radio frequency discharge path. CONSTITUTION: An anode(44) and a cathode(48) are arranged in parallel to each other and execute a surface discharge. An RF electrode(46) is arranged parallel to the anode(44). The RF electrode(46) and an opposing electrode(46') against the RF electrode(46) are arranged in turns on an upper portion of a partition wall(64) so that the distance between the RF electrode(46) and the opposing electrode(46') against the RF electrode(46) is maximized. The radio frequency discharge is generated between the RF electrode(46) and the opposing electrode(46') against the RF electrode(46). Therefore, a sufficient discharge path is secured. |
