METHOD FOR DIRECTLY CONVERTING SUBSCRIBER SIGNAL IN SWITCHING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for directly converting a subscriber signal in a switching system is provided to directly convert a subscriber signal into an IDLC(Integrated Digital Loop Carrier) signal in order to connect a subscriber terminal not having an IDLC AN(Access Network) function to an exchange having an IDLC LE(Local Exchange) function. CONSTITUTION: In the case of connecting a subscriber terminal(40) not having an IDLC AN function to an exchange(10) having an IDLC LE function, an IDLC AN(21) is only required. The IDLC AN(21) contains a protocol processing part(22), a signal transfer part(24), and a signal conversion part(23). The signal conversion part(23) receives a subscriber signal from the subscriber terminal(40) through an E1 link and separates the received signal into a voice signal and an ISDN information signal. The separated signals are supplied to the protocol processing part(22) through the signal transfer part(24). The protocol processing part(22) executes IDLC protocol processing for the voice signal and the ISDN information signal and transmits them to the exchange(10).
